Introduction

KTP is a non-profit organization working in the field of adult education and lifelong learning. The KTP team focuses in particular on the import, development and propagation of innovative, creative and practical educational products, methods and seminars for adults.

We also help to apply the newly established educational products in the form of pedagogical counselling, couching, presentations and seminars.

In addition to active involvement in several European educational projects we also enthusiastically prepare and run courses, which may help people to increase both their qualification and self-confidence on the labour market. Our team creates open-minded personalities, study and work experience in the Czech Republic as well as abroad, and proficient knowledge of foreign languages.

We cooperate with external lecturers – specialists in the fields of psychology, media, advertising and education.

The basic principles of our work are:

  • Respect towards the uniqueness of learning style of each person;
  • Searching for weaknesses, which can be worked and built upon;
  • Effort to connect partial fragments of further education with interests and potentials of each participant;
  • Aim to respond to needs and fields of interest of today's adults;
  • Desire not to look for problems, but for meaningful and efficient solutions.

As important we perceive also the following:

Support and implementation of projects related to requirements of the labour market and to the field of occupational qualification, informing the public on the importance and relevance of occupational qualification, creating contacts among institutions and support of international exchange of information.

Groups of our focus:

  • Teachers
  • Students
  • People working with youth
  • Interested people from general public, who are working on their development

KTP offers a year-round working experience for students interested in adult education and lifelong learning. This working experience involves cooperation in management of educational projects and courses for adults. For more information on conditions of the work experience see the People section.
